Race for the White House
It's beyond belief that Donald Trump has got the Republican nomination. Still he comes out with his nonsense, the latest being to call Hilary Clinton "the devil" and claiming that the election may be rigged.

Why do Americans tolerate this man? What has happened to the US?

There is only one reason to vote for Hillary, that she isn't Trump, and even then it's a close call.

To say he called her the devil though is a bit disingenuous and is why his supporters continue to back him. He said that Bernie had done a deal with the devil, a figure of speech, clarified by pointing out that Hillary was the devil in the metaphor.

The way he is reported as opposed to the reporting on her is a big problem for people interested in democracy and truth.

Clinton allegedly oversaw the trafficking of arms to Libya and Syria and has been investigated by the FBI and found to have been criminally negligent, and her pals are currently doing as much as possible to stop some emails apparently proving all this from being released. That is fucking dangerous stuff.

But Trump said some mean things, which is obviously far worse.

Anybody who sticks a Mars bar up their fanny should not be President of the United States

This'll be just like that time Homer Simpson won the election to be Sanitation Commissioner except they won't be able to move the USA five miles down the road when they hit a snafu.

Theresa May and Farage are pretty smart. Corbyn less so to be fair.

As someone who can vote in the US election I have a choice between a crazy, corrupt old arsehole and Donald Trump. Give me the one with the bad hair.

Trump is a chump.

An egomaniac with an ability to stir up the redneck faction with nationalistic fervor and outright racism and that is a very large group of ignorant people.

I hope Hilary wins just as I believe the whole world needs Trump to lose. I just can't see it and hope he disappears up his own orifice.

Fair enough Hilary is no saint and she's made some mistakes of course.

But I honestly think that if Donald Trump is the president, he has the potential (and likelihood) to cause far more damage to the USA and even the rest of the world, than any of his predecessors.

Can you honestly imagine someone like Trump dealing with any dangerous situations with any calm and composure?

While HC shouldn't be elected either, she's a far better choice than Drumpf (his real name, apparently).

I think from this point on there is going to be a massive media onslaught against Drumpf, just because everyone but the Rednecks realises Drumpf will divide the USA and splinter the rest of the world. He's going to have to do live debates with Hillary which will be dissected and his inability to tell the truth will be exposed. He won't get through one debate without getting caught out.

FWIW my father used to call a fart a trump. No idea why, but the first time I heard of this bloke Trump in the US I couldn't quite believe what I was hearing.

I think truth, and the live debates will be two things he has over Hillary. She is appalling on both.
